Former Uruguay striker Diego Forlan is delighted to announce that superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to Manchester United.

Ronaldo had a very successful early stint at the Red Devils between 2003 and 2009. Before re-signing from Juventus this summer.

Forlan, who played with Ronaldo, said: “I’m happy he’s back in Manchester again, he is one of the strongest people in history. It’s good for him to go home.”

Forlan also hailed compatriot Edinson Cavani who gave the number 7 to Ronaldo and switched to the number 21 instead.

The 42-year-old former spearhead said of this story. “It’s a beautiful expression.”
